Դանիային պատկանող Ֆարերյան կղզիներում տեղի է ունեցել հարյուրավոր կետերի զանգվածային սպանդը. տեղացիները, դանակներով զինված, լողափում սպանել են կենդանիներին, ինչի հետևանքով փիրուզագույն ջուրը վերածվել է «արյան ծովի»:
