Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has raised a demand for an international investigation into the reported involvement of mercenaries and terrorists in the crimes of aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh).
“It is worthwhile to mention that Azerbaijan, with its population of 10 million and tremendous oil revenues, made a self-confession since July 2020 that it isn’t any longer able to resolve its own security concerns. And it turned to thousands of terrorists for help.
“The involvement of mercenaries and terrorists in the aggression against Artsakh is a threat not only to Artsakh and Armenia but also international security. And this issue must be subject to an international investigation,” he said in a public statement on Facebook.
