Russia’s Ministry of Defense is actively participating in the realization of initiatives of the Russian Federation on stabilization of situation in Nagorno Karabakh.
“Ministry of Defense of Russia in the sidelines of its competency is actively participating in the realization of initiatives of the Russian Federation on speedy stabilization of the situation in Nagorno Karabakh,” the statement says.
It is stressed that the chief goal of the work, including the one carried out by the Minister, General of the RF Army Sergey Shoygu is “immediate cessation of hostilities in Nagorno Karabakh and the transfer to negotiations by the conflicting parties for the normalization of the situation in the region.”
