Information about mercenaries sent to Azerbaijan by Turkey clarified: MFA spokesperson

Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not exclude the possibility that Turkey has sent mercenaries from Syria to Azerbaijan, spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan said at a briefing today.

“Taking into consideration the engagement of religious extremists by Azerbaijan in fight against Artsakh this possibility exists,” Naghdalyan said.

She also stressed that the MFA is working to find out whether the information is true.
